HELP DOCUMENT FOR DIVI CHILD THEME

1. Follow the below steps to install the Divi Child Theme into your WordPress.
2. Download the Divi child theme zip file from the marketplace.
3. There are two ways to install the theme into WordPress
   1. Installing through WordPress admin dashboard
   2. Uploading WordPress through FTP

i) Installing through WordPress admin dashboard

1. Login into your WordPress admin
2. Go To: Admin Dashboard – Appearance – Themes
3. By clicking “Add New”, Divi child theme zip file
4. Once uploaded done, click Activate link in theme installed success message. Now theme has been activated for your use.

i) Upload through FTP

1. Extract Divi child theme zip file
2. Upload this extracted files into WordPress installed folder wp-content/themes
3. Login into the WordPress Go To: Admin Dashboard – Appearance – Themes
4. Once uploaded done, click Activate link in theme installed success message. Now theme has been activated for your use.
5. Now Activate the theme

How to Create Email Account in Bloom?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Bloom → Email Accounts
2. Click Account Button
3. Select ‘Mailchimp’ option in dropdown
4. New Account Setup
   • Select ‘Mailchimp’ from Select Email Provider
   • Enter your Mailchimp Account from Account Name box
   • Give Mailchimp Api Key from Api key box
   • Click Authorize Button

How to Create Bloom Form?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Bloom → Optin Forms
2. Click New Optin Button
3. Select Optin Form from design
4. Setup your optin Form:
   • Give optin name
   • Select ‘Mailchimp’ from Select Email Provider
   • Enter your Mailchimp Account from Account Name box
   • Enter your Mailchimp Email list from Select Email list
   • Click Save & Exit Button
5. Get Shortcode from “[ ]” double square icon
6. Copy the shortcode in popup window

How to Apply Bloom Shortcode?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Apperance → widgets
2. Click any Footer Area → Text Widget → Paste the shotcode → Save button

Follow the below step to set permalink.

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Settings → Permalinks
2. Select Post name option
3. Click Save Changes button

Follow the below step to Fixed Or Sticky Menu Setup.

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Divi → Theme Option
2. General → Fixed Navigation Bar → Enabled or Disabled
3. Click Save Changes button

Follow the below Step to Divi Scroll to Top Icon Setup.

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Divi → Theme Option
2. General → Back To Top Button → Disabled mode change to Enabled mode
3. General → Smooth Scrolling → Disabled mode change to Enabled mode
4. Click Save Changes button

Edit – Global Sections & Modules:

1. Top bar, Blog SideBar, Shop Banner, Shop SideBar, and Global Sections

Go to Admin Dashboard → Divi → Divi Library

How to edit Footer Column or Layout?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Divi → Theme Customizer → Footer → Layout
2. Change Default Four Column
3. Click Save Changes button

How to go Widgets?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Apperance → Widgets
2. Edit – Footer Area #1, Footer Area #2, Footer Area #3, Footer Area #4,

How to edit Footer Area?

1. Click Footer Area #1 → Click Text Widget -> Edit Source code
2. Click Save button

How to Edit – Functions.php?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Apperance → Theme Editor → functions.php
2. Find text in “global Style sheet”
3. “//” Remove to command line (//add_action)
4. Click Update File Button

How to Edit – Global Style Sheet?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Apperance → Theme Editor → assets → css → custom → global.css
2. Find & Replace of Primary & Secondary Theme color
3. Click Update File button

How to Edit Banner(Blog Banner,Shop Banner,Single Post, Hotel Booking Banner) on the Library

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Divi → Divi Library → Select any banner (Blog Banner,Shop Banner,Single Post,Hotel Booking Banner) → Click Edit
2. Section → Click Settings icon
3. Section Settings → Content → Background → settings icon
4. Change the background image & Click Save button & Update button
5. This step similar all type banner section

How to Edit color in the style.css file

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Appearance → Theme Editor → Select child theme on right side select box → Click style.css
2. Search theme color name on the style.css file
3. Change the theme color
4. Click update button

How to Edit color in the woocommerce-style.css file

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Appearance → Theme Editor → Select child theme on right side select box → assets → css → custom → woocommerce-style.css
2. Search theme color name on the style.css file
3. Change the theme color
4. Click update button

How to Edit Footer.php

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Appearance → Theme Editor → Select child theme on right side select box → Click footer.php
2. Search theme color name on the style.css file
3. Change the text of '© All Rights Reserved'
4. Click Save button

How to Edit – Theme Builder

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Divi → Theme Builder
2. Click Add Global Header Button
3. Click Build Global Header Button
4. Click Start Building Button
5. Click three dotted icon
6. Click wireframe view button
7. Click Add new section → Click Add From Library or Create section
8. Click Add new section → Click New section tab or Add From Library tab
9. Divi → Theme Builder → Click Save Changes button

How to Setup Shop page?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Woocommerce → Settings
2. Click Products tab
3. Select Shop page in dropdown
4. Click Save Changes button

How to Setup Cart & Checkout page ?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Woocommerce → Settings
2. Click Advanced tab
3. Select Cart page in dropdown
4. Select Checkout page in dropdown
5. Click Save Changes button

How to Setup Hotel Lite Plugin Pages?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Accommodation → Settings
2. Select Search Results page in dropdown
3. Select Booking Confirmation page in dropdown
4. Click Save Changes button

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Accommodation → Settings
2. Select Payment Gateways

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Donations → Add Form
2. Enter Form Name
3. Click Donation options tab → Select Multi-level-Donation

1. Enter Donation Level Amount
2. Give your Amount & Text(title)

1. Click Form Display tab in Form
2. Select Paypal option of Default Gateway Dropdown
3. Click Update button

How to setup Donation History , Success & Failed page?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Donations → Settings
2. Click General → Select Donation Confirmation in Success Page
3. Click General → Select Donation Failed in Failed Donation Page
4. Click General → Select Donation History in Donation History Page
5. Click Save Changes button

How to Enable Paypal?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Donations → Settings → Payment Gateways &rarr Gateways
2. Check(tick) Paypal Standard in Enabled Gateways
3. Select Paypal Standard in Default Gateways dropdown
4. Click Save Changes button

How to give Paypal details?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Donations → Settings → Payment Gateways &rarr Paypal Standard
2. Give your Paypal Merchant Account Email Address in Paypal Email box
3. Click Save Changes button

How to get Shortcode?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Donations → All Forms
2. Show all the Shortcode

How to use Shortcode?

1. Click Text tab in Donation Form Module Settings
2. Paste the shortcode of Donation form
3. Click Save button

How to Add Carousel Slider?

1. Go to Admin Dashboard → Carousel Slider → All Slides or Add New
2. Example: Edit → Sports Blog
   • Slider Type → Select Post Carousel
   • Query Type → Select Post Categories
   • Post Categories → Select Any Categories
   • List of More Settings:
     Posts per page,order by,image carousel, Navigation Settings,Dots color, auto play settings
3. Click Update button

How to give value to shortcode of Post grid Filter plugin ?

1. Click Text Module Settings icon → Content → Text
2. Give Category limit → cat_limit=”4″
3. Give Category id → cat_id=”8,9,10,11″
4. Display Author & Read more:
   • show_read_more=”true” Or show_read_more=”false”
   • show_author=”true” Or show_author=”false”
5. Click Save button

Two Column Post Grid

1. Click Text Module Settings icon → Content → Text
2. Give Category limit → cat_limit=”2″
3. Give Category id → cat_id=”8,9″
4. image height → image_height=”350″
5. Display Author & Read more:
   • show_read_more=”true” Or show_read_more=”false”
   • show_author=”true” Or show_author=”false”
6. Click Save button

SA Slider

1. Click SA Sliders-> SA Sliders
2. Copy the Shortcode Paste to the any page

How to Edit Content

1. Click SA Sliders-> SA Sliders -> Ex:gym-testimonial
2. Click Slide1 tab
3. Change the Content & image
4. Click Update Button

Contact Form 7

1. Click Contact -> Contact Forms
2. Copy the Shortcode Paste to the any page

1. Header Menu not Showing?

Follow the below steps to enable the missing Top bar, Menu & Header Banner sections.

Step 1: Copy Menu Layout ID

1. Go to Admin Dashboard -> Divi -> Divi Library
2. In the layout list Mouse hover on the menu layout module.
3. Mouse hover on Edit link.
4. Note or Copy layout id which is showing on bottom of the page.

Step 2: Paste/Change Menu Module Shortcode ID value

1. Go to Admin Dashboard -> Appearance -> Theme Editor
2. Choose our Divi Child Theme in the themes dropdown list.
3. Click index.php file in the theme files list.
4. Change this divi layout id value of the header sections shortcode.
5. Click Update File button to save the changes.

2. Sidebar Wigets Area not Showing?

Follow the below steps to enable the missing blog & woocommerce pages widgets area.

Step 1: Copy Sidebar Layout ID

1. Go to Admin Dashboard -> Divi -> Divi Library
2. In the layout list Mouse hover on the sidebar layout module.
3. Mouse hover on Edit link.
4. Note or Copy layout id which is showing on bottom of the page.

Step 2: Paste/Change Sidebar Module Shortcode ID value

1. Go to Admin Dashboard -> Appearance -> Theme Editor
2. Choose our Divi Child Theme in the themes dropdown list.
3. Click sidebar.php file in the theme files list.
4. Change this divi layout id value of the sidebar module shortcode.
5. Click Update File button to save the changes.
